The 221kW CUPRA Ateca VZx ($66,750 driveaway) is being offered at $197.69 per week via CUPRA Official Finance (see website for terms and conditions) with guaranteed buy back and three-year free servicing. The all-wheel-drive SUV can make 100km/h from standing in less than five seconds.
CUPRA's Formentor V ($54,490 driveaway) is being offered at $161.95 per week via CUPRA Official Finance with guaranteed buy back and three-year free servicing (see website for terms and conditions). The all-wheel-drive entrant to the top-selling Formentor range makes 140kW/320Nm.
There is also readily available stock of the Formentor VZ and VZx.
CUPRA Australia Ben Wilks said that the brand had some 2100 orders.
"CUPRA customers are gravitating toward the pinnacles of the range, especially the Formentor VZx," he said. "That's quite an endorsement of a brand that's still new to this country and going into its first full calendar year on sale."
In addition to the 395 SUVs currently visible on the CUPRA website, further are in the pipeline.
Only the Formentor VZe plug-in-hybrid electric vehicle is currently unavailable. Mr Wilks said the brand is in discussion with its factory as to further production.
Ahead of the imminent introduction of the Born, CUPRA aligned the prices of this BEV hatchback with Leon VZx turbo petrol and Leon VZe PHEV at $59,990 plus on-road costs.
CUPRA has also introduced a new entry variant to showroom, the Leon V hatchback from $43,990 plus on-road costs or $47,990 drive-away. The 180kW Leon VZ now priced at $51,990 RRP or $56,490 DA.
