- Citroen Australia opens up all 23,184 colour, trim and drivetrain options for innovative C4 Cactus
- All options available until end of 2015 for pre-ordered vehicles
Citroen's ultra-customisable C4 Cactus will be offered to Australian customers without colour, trim or option limitations until the end of the year.
Product Manager for Citroen Australia, Glenn Reid, said such a personal vehicle shouldn't be limited by choice as it is a statement in personal taste.
"With over 23,194 possible combination for Cactus models in Australia, we thought we'd let customers decide which combinations we would and wouldn't offer once the car goes on sale next year," said Reid.
"Our plan is to not restrict any colour, trim or option from any customer for the remainder of the year. This guarantees early customers may have the only Cactus of their type in Australia."
"Following pre-orders we will look at what the market is telling us and remove less popular choices from the market. It's a totally different way of doing things," said Reid.

Customers wishing to build their own Cactus will be able to do so via an interactive build tool on the Citroen website from mid-September, at which time full pricing and specification will be available.
To secure their personalised Cactus customers will need to visit their nearest Citroen dealer where they will be walked through the order process, vehicle build time and finally pay a deposit to lock in their order.
