Following the confirmation in July that the all-new Citroën C5 X is bound for Australian shores in quarter four, 2022, Citroën Australia is today proud to announce further specification has been announced for its latest model. What's more, interested customers are now invited to configure their own Citroën C5 X at www.citroen.com.au or contact their local authorised Citroën dealership to discover more.

Citroën Australia will be launching a highly specified single variant of the innovative model that blends the boundaries of sedan, wagon, and SUV. The round, muscular shapes combined with streamlined, sleek lines create a fluid, dynamic and elegant form that combines the best of three worlds: all the status and elegance of the sedan, the dynamism and versatility of a wagon, and finally, the modernity and robust appearance of the SUV.

Powered by a turbocharged 1.6L PureTech Petrol engine, producing 133kW of power, paired with an 8-speed Efficient Automatic Transmission, the Citroën C5 X will mark the brand's bold return to large tourers.

Kate Gillis, Managing Director Citroën Australia, commented: "It is with great excitement and anticipation that we can announce further details on the C5 X today. We are looking forward to presenting this remarkable Citroën offering locally at launch next quarter, where we hope that what is such a versatile and distinct model will truly resonate with customers looking for the best of several body shapes, without compromise."
