CITROËN Automobiles Australia is continuing its new pricing offensive with the announcement of yet another competitive drive away offer.

Following on from the recent C4 Aircross drive away campaign, CITROËN's affordable and fuel efficient hatchback – the C4 Seduction 1.6L e-HDi Diesel EGS – will be available from just $25,990 drive away.

The C4 Seduction 1.6L e-HDi diesel is powered by an HDI direct injection engine and comes available with a Stop & Start system and Electronic Gearbox System (EGS) as standard. The combination of the fuel-saving EGS and the efficient Start & Stop system enables the 1.6L e-HDi diesel engine to achieve a low combined fuel consumption figure of just 4.4L/100km (114 g/km CO2).

CITROËN's clever Stop & Start system puts the engine into idle mode as the driver decelerates and stops altogether when the vehicle comes to a halt. The moment the driver takes the foot off the brake, the system restarts silently and without vibration. The Stop & Start system helps to reduce CO2 emissions by about 5g/km and fuel consumption by 15% in the city.

The EGS is an advanced transmission which offers all the benefits of an automatic gearbox yet consumes less than a manual gearbox. The gearbox lets the driver select either effortless full automatic shifts, or manual changes via the steering wheel mounted paddles.

CITROËN never comprises on safety and the C4 is another example of the brand's comprehensive safety offerings.

The CITROËN C4 has balanced road-holding, strengthened by standard driving assistance technologies such as ABS with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Emergency Braking Assistance (EBA), intelligent traction control, and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). In addition to its road-holding performance, on-board safety is one of the C4s many advantages, with six airbags as standard (driver, front passenger, side and curtain).

CITROËN's competitive drive away offer for its C4 Seduction 1.6l e-HDi Diesel EGS variant will be available until June 30, 2013 or while stocks lasts.
