The CITROËN CACTUS concept was one of the stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. Now, its unique design has been recognised by the readers and editorial team of "L'Automobile Magazine". The production version is due to be presented on 5 February 2014.

Presented at the last Frankfurt Motor Show, the CITROËN CACTUS concept has already made a name for itself. Acclaimed by the public and the international press for its original design, the concept car was presented as a manifesto of CITROËN values. 

The readers and editorial team of "L'Automobile Magazine" have named the CITROËN CACTUS as winner of the 2013 Design Award. With this concept, CITROËN shifts the paradigm, sweeping away the superfluous to place greater emphasis on everything that contributes to comfort. A desirable, user-friendly car, CITROËN CACTUS embodies a new approach. A unique design that once more places the focus on convenience, shared comfort and easy-to-use technologies.

While not yet confirmed for the Australian market, Citroen Automobiles Australia Marketing Manager Manuel Tyras says the CACTUS is under consideration.

``The C4 Cactus is an exciting project. Locally, we're building a case for our market and if it checks and balances we'd like to see this in Australia in 2015.''
