Sydney, 7. November 2024 –Audi Australia is thrilled to announce the official pricing and specification of the highly-anticipated all-electric Audi Q6 e-tron and performance-focused SQ6 e-tron. Set to arrive in early 2025, these models combine pioneering electric architecture, state-of-the-art interior technology, and Audi’s iconic design language to make waves in the electric SUV segment here in Australia. Both models will be displayed for the first time at the Sydney International EV Show from November 8-10 at the Sydney International Convention Centre.
The Audi Q6 e-tron range stands to be one of the most advanced models the brand has introduced to Australia, underpinned by a new electrical architecture, and powered with new levels of performance and efficiency. Comfort, convenience, and customisation headline for this all-new electric SUV, both innovative in nature and the embodiment of Vorsprung Durch Technik.

The all-new range of the Audi Q6 e-tron starts at $115,500* for the rear-wheel drive Audi Q6 e-tron Performance, with the all-wheel drive Audi Q6 e-tron quattro priced at $122,500*, and finally, the top of the range in the Audi SQ6 e-tron priced at $151,400*.
A new era in Audi’s electric mobility
As the first models built on Audi’s Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Audi Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron represent Audi’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and future mobility. There will be three variants of the Q6 e-tron SUV range available at launch in early 2025: the Q6 SUV Performance (rear-wheel drive), Q6 SUV quattro, and the high-performance SQ6 SUV. This lineup will ensure that Australian customers have access to a range of options that cater to different driving preferences and needs ahead of the Sportback body-style version of the SUV which is not due to arrive to Australia until later in 2025. Each variant is designed to deliver a unique driving experience, from the balanced and efficient rear-wheel drive Performance model to the versatile and capable quattro, and the exhilarating SQ6.
The Q6 e-tron range is powered by an advanced 100 kWh battery and 800-volt architecture, delivering seamless power with efficiency at its core. With charging speeds of up to 270 kW (260 kW for the Q6 e-tron performance and 270 kW for the Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron), drivers can boost their range by 255 km^ in just 10 minutes at compatible fast-charging stations, while a full charge from 10 to 80% takes only 21 minutes.
The Q6 e-tron quattro, designed for versatile everyday performance, has 285kW of power enabling a sprint from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. The rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron performance has 225 kW of power, boosted to 240 kW when used with launch control mode for a 6.6 second 0-100 km/h dash. In contrast, the high-performance SQ6 e-tron takes electric power to new heights with a dual-motor setup delivering up to 380 kW, propelling the SQ6 e-tron from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds with launch control mode.
Progressive design meets high-performance innovation
The Q6 e-tron series embodies a sophisticated yet muscular design, positioning it between the Q4 and Q8 e-tron in Audi’s electric SUV lineup, and slightly larger than the brand’s popular Q5. Featuring Audi’s new digital OLED rear lights as standard on the SQ6 and optional on the Q6, offering customisable light signatures that not only enhance road visibility but also provide a unique, animated experience during semi-automated parking manoeuvres. All variants feature as-standard Matrix LED headlights with configurable digital daytime running lights and light signatures that provide a bold visual identity.
Inside, the Q6 and SQ6 e-tron feature the latest MMI panoramic curved display, with a stunning 14.5-inch MMI touch display and an 11.9” Audi virtual cockpit plus that the brand is known for. All three variants will also come standard with a previously-unseen for the brand 10.9-inch passenger touch screen, providing entertainment and functionality for passengers without risk of distracting the driver. Powered by an Android-based operating system, the interface offers intuitive access to Audi connect, navigation, and streaming options, creating an immersive experience for both drivers and passengers. Optional headrest speakers, part of the Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system, allow for sound zones that deliver an extra dimension of sound combined with the ability to hear things like navigation instructions directly from the headrest, while an augmented reality head-up display (standard on the SQ6 and optional on the Q6) provides helpful driving information seamlessly integrated with real-world visuals.
Premium features and advanced safety
The Audi Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron are not only equipped with next-generation safety assistance but are also some of most highly specified vehicles within their respective segment. Not only do all three variants feature Matrix headlights with digital light signatures and a passenger touch screen display, but also a full suite of comfort and convenience items in each. The rear-wheel drive Q6 e-tron Performance features 19” alloy wheels in a 5-twin-spoke dynamic design, a full body colour paint finish, heating, folding, auto-dimming and memory function exterior mirrors, and electric tailgate with gesture control for ultimate driver convenience. The interior boasts electric, memory (for the driver’s seat only), Sport front seats with leather appointed upholstery throughout the cabin, 3-zone climate control with heated steering wheel and front and outer rear seats, ambient lighting, and plenty of storage.
In addition to the refreshed-concept interior, next-generation MMI and passenger screen inclusion, the entry variant also includes a 10-speaker Audi sound system with subwoofer, Audi connect plus Navigation and infotainment, security and assistance, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and wireless charging for mobile devices, with an adaptive cooling function.
Those moving up into the mid-range all-wheel drive Q6 e-tron quattro receive all these standard features as well as S line exterior styling, 20” Audi Sport alloy wheels in matt grey gloss turned finish, and S line interior features with S embossing and contrasting stitching, black headlining, illuminated features throughout and an S line multifunction steering wheel, flattened at the top and bottom with S emblem for an extremely sporty look and feel.
The top-of-the-range SQ6 e-tron benefits further with metallic paint, S exterior styling, matt aluminium features, 21” Audi Sport wheels in a black metallic gloss-turned finish, panoramic electrically opening sunroof, red brake callipers and privacy glass for a menacing and stylish presence on the road. Inside, passengers will be treated to Sport seats in fine Nappa leather, lumbar support with pneumatic massage functionality, colour ambient lighting, augmented reality head up display and a 16 speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D premium Sound System for the ultimate on-board experience.
Both models offer a wealth of safety and assistance technologies, underscoring Audi’s dedication to occupant protection. Audi’s latest "Active Front Assist" system provides extended detection capabilities for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, while adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and proactive occupant protection come standard. The SQ6 e-tron further enhances safety with exclusive OLED rear lighting, offering dynamic warning signals that alert traffic and cyclists during critical manoeuvres.
The Q6 e-tron series includes several optional packages to elevate the driving experience. The Style Package introduces distinctive styling elements, while the Tech Pro Package adds adaptive air suspension and OLED rear lights. Additionally, the Premium Package offers enhanced luxury with colour ambient lighting, augmented reality head-up display, Bang & Olufsen audio, and a panoramic sunroof.
Peace-of-mind for Audi owners
All models within the Audi Q6 e-tron range come with six years Audi roadside assist, and a one-year public charging subscription to the Chargefox network – Australia's largest EV charging network of which Audi Australia is a founding partner.
The Q6 e-tron models also come with the peace-of-mind of a five-year warranty and twelve years manufacturing warranty for bodywork against corrosion perforation for new vehicles, as well as an eight-year/160,000 km battery warranty.
Audi owners also receive a complementary membership during their warranty period to Audi Experience, Audi Australia's bespoke loyalty program that offers access to exclusive national events, intimate Audi Ambassador experiences and premium partner offers.
