Volvo Car Australia today announced the pricing for its XC40 Recharge Pure Electric compact luxury SUV ahead of the quarter three Australian launch.
The XC40 Recharge Pure Electric is Volvo's first all-electric vehicle and reinforces the Swedish company's commitment to electrifying its entire car range by 2025, with full electric or plug-in hybrid variants.
In Australia the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric will be available in one luxury specification at $76,990 MRRP. For this price buyers will get a beautifully designed, all-wheel drive SUV with an impressive 400+ km range and packed with the latest safety and infotainment features.

The electric motors power it from zero to 100kmp/h in just 4.9 seconds, making the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric one of the most powerful cars Volvo has produced. When fully charged the Volvo XC40 Recharge Pure Electric has a projected range of up to 418 kilometres which makes it a perfect vehicle for the daily commute plus more. The vehicle is also designed for fast charging from zero to 80% in around 40 minutes.

Unlike other Volvo XC40 models, the XC40 Recharge Pure Electric has no start-stop button. Once it is unlocked, you simply sit in the seat, buckle up, and drive off.
The Clean Zone multi climate system removes harmful outside pollutants and particles from the cabin to deliver Scandinavian-fresh air on the inside.
