Pressure is on Volvo Polestar Racing for the fourth V8 Supercars race weekend of 2015 at the Winton SuperSprint.

"We really need a good round and the team has been working hard after Perth," said McLaughlin.

The first three race weekends have been proven tough but competitive for the team, but McLaughlin is keen to get back on track.

"We need to make sure that we get back on the ball. We couldn't go to a better track than our home track with Winton and I think we can get a pretty solid points haul. We need to get a bit of confidence back to the team and I am looking forward to this weekend," said McLaughlin.

David Wall is fully recovered from his foot injury and has prepared himself ahead of Winton with go-kart.

"The time since Perth has been good for me to get out in the go-kart. I've also had a couple of tweaks in the car and I hope for a good result for the entire team. And the extra tyres on Friday I think is a very good idea," said Wall.

The V8 Supercars Commission has allocated the teams an extra set of tyres for the Friday practice sessions in order for the teams to be able to further maximise the testing time and not only use older, previously used, tyres.

The Winton SuperSprint weekend starts on Friday with practice, followed by qualifying and two races of 20 laps each on Saturday and a final race of 67 laps on Sunday.
