Scott McLaughlin is chasing a victory in the 2015 V8 Supercars season finale in Sydney this weekend.
"I would really like to finish 2015 with a win, which would be awesome. Sydney is a place that I enjoy and the car is normally really good here," said McLaughlin.
The Volvo Polestar Racing driver claimed a triple podium finish in the S60 at Phillip Island two weeks ago, marking a strong final part of the season.
"It has been an up and down year, but hopefully we are going to finish it strong in Sydney. The last result at Phillip Island gives us a lot of confidence, not only heading into this weekend but also next year," said McLaughlin.
David Wall will drive his last race in the number 34 car for the team at the Homebush Street Circuit and is looking to end the season strongly.
"The Sydney 500 is always a gruelling race. We've got unpredictable weather and hard work over the curbs, but still a really enjoyable track. Our car has been pretty good at street circuits, so heading to Sydney feeling like we could have a good show there and hopefully finish the year on a high," said Wall.
