Subaru is previewing a special edition turbocharged Liberty GT at Melbourne Motor Show that adds a variety of performance technology.
The constant All-Wheel Drive Liberty GT spec.B tuned by STI goes on sale on April 8.
It draws on a variety of features from the Subaru Tecnica International catalogue, including enhanced power output of 194 kW at 6000 rpm, 350 Nm of torque at 2800 rpm and multiple interior changes.
Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: "Our series of tuned by STI special editions have proved winners with customers.
"We are offering just 250 sedans and wagons in the current model year, which seem certain to follow the success of previous versions."
The cars will be available in both six-speed manual and five-speed SPORTSHIFT automatic variants, in a choice of black, silver, grey and white and include an STI sports suspension package.
Mr Senior added: "Subaru special editions have great resale value and represent a solid investment in cars that are fun to drive, offer five-star safety and that 'something different' that so many of us look for."
Other STI enhancements include gear shift knob and short shift lever, front lip spoiler, low back pressure rear muffler, STI badging, tuned by STI sill plate and front seats with STI logo.
It also offers 18-inch ENKEI lightweight multi-spoke alloy wheels.
