Due to overwhelming interest from performance vehicle enthusiasts, Subaru Australia's first allocation of the all-new Subaru BRZ, which start arriving from mid-December this year, is nearly sold out.
The first allocation of 500 vehicles, which covers the first model year BRZ (MY22 BRZ), has been nearly exhausted by Australian consumers keen to secure the iconic sports car for themselves. With less than 90 vehicles still available, there is a limited opportunity for customers to secure their Subaru BRZ in the first half of 2022.
The BRZ has been completely redesigned and reengineered, delivering even more driving pleasure than its predecessor with improved power, torque, acceleration, better handling, and some epic rear-wheel drive thrills.
Powered by Subaru's new naturally aspirated 2.4-litre direct and port injection four-cylinder Horizontally-opposed Boxer engine, the new Subaru BRZ is available in two variants - BRZ Coupe and BRZ Coupe S - and both with the choice of six-speed manual or six-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission.
As previously revealed, BRZ's new engine delivers almost 18% more torque than the superseded manual model and over 20% more torque than the outgoing automatic.
BRZ's new body has approximately 60% greater front lateral bending rigidity and approximately 50% more torsional stiffness. The stiffer body contributes to improved steering response, more nimble handling and better stability.
Blair Read, General Manager Subaru Australia, said: "We are delighted by the reception for the all-new Subaru BRZ. The number of Australian customers already eagerly awaiting delivery to their driveway is testament to the great package the Subaru engineers have delivered with the next generation BRZ.
"Emboldened with Subaru's motorsport DNA, the Subaru BRZ is the car for drivers seeking an iconic vehicle that delivers raw performance, an exhilarating ride and enhanced driving dynamics."
Interested customers can pre-order their BRZ online (https://www.subaru.com.au/around-the-corner/register-your-interest/brz) or through their local Subaru Retailer.
