Kumho has debuted an all-new Ultra High Performance tyre aimed
at providing the best possible performance for luxury sports and
performance vehicles rivalling that of tyres from acknowledged
European and Japanese manufacturers.
The new Kumho KU39 Ecsta LE Sport is a maximum performance tyre
for premium sports cars, sport coupes and sedans using Kumho's
precision-tuned tread design.
The new KU39 Ecsta LE Sport offers superior grip coupled with
high-speed stability, uncompromising wet and dry traction coupled
with a smooth ride to meet the needs and expectations of owners of
ultra high performance cars and SUVs.
According to Kumho Tyres Australia managing director, Mr Edmund
Cho, the new KU 39 Ecsta LE Sport is designed as a no compromise
tyre to take on the leading European and Japanese brands head on
and comes with a Y speed rating making it capable of speeds of up
to 300km/h.
"Kumho makes no apologies for taking on the leading brands with
a tyre that delivers the same levels of ultra high performance
owners of the likes of BMW, Mercedes Benz, Audi, Porsche and Aston
Martin demand," said Mr Cho.
"KU39 is aimed squarely at the European premium tyre market
taking on the likes of Bridgestone's Potenza REO50, Continental
Extreme Contact, Michelin Pilot Sport 2 and Pirelli P Zero and out
performs them in every area," he added.
"The advantage the KU39 Ecsta LE Sport offers is that while it
matches the European and Japanese UHP opponents it offers a
significant price advantage by comparison."
The new 'flagship' tyre of the Kumho range the KU39 is a sports
performance tyre which delivers dynamic handling in all conditions
for powerful prestige vehicles.
Although designed for maximum performance this tyre possesses
controlled ride and refinement which minimises noise levels while
driving at high speed.
The new KU39 Ecsta LE Sport tyre uses an asymmetric design to
ensure superb water evacuation for optimal driving on both wet and
dry roads, while a solid centre rib provides continuous contact
with the road enhancing straight-line stability and steering
response.
Kumho engineers have designed KU39 Ecsta LE Sport with a
variable tread block design in order to reduce road noise for
improved ride comfort and overall driving pleasure while its
optimised footprint shape provides stable driving performance and
even wear across the life of the tyre.
The KU39 Ecsta LE Sport comes in a range of 36 sizes ranging
from 205/55 R16 to the ultra low profile 295/30 R19.
