With over 22,000 fans in attendance at AAMI park in Melbourne on Saturday, 28 May, the newly crowned Isuzu UTE A-League Grand Final winners Western United lifted their first ever Championship trophy.

“Seeing so many fans in attendance to bring their passionate support to both teams was a fantastic end to an exciting finals series, and a real highlight of our first season of partnership with the A-League,” Said Koichiro Yoshida.
We offer our congratulations to Western United for their win after only three years in the A-League Men, and to runners up Melbourne City, and are looking forward to continuing our work with both the A-Leagues and Network 10 to bring football to all Australians for the new season”.
Reflecting on the season, Australian Professional Leagues’ CEO, Danny Townsend, thanked Isuzu UTE for their support.
“We are so grateful to Isuzu UTE for their passion and commitment to the growth of football in Australia. We have achieved an extraordinary amount this season, despite it being one of the most challenging periods for sport globally, and we look forward to continuing this journey together with our partners Isuzu UTE Australia.”
