- Team Subaru Tecnica International first in class.
- Falken Motorsports fastest Porsche.
Team Subaru Tecnica International's WRX STI was the fastest in the SP3T class at the 2016 ADAC Zurich 24h-Race Nurburgring (commonly known as the 24 Hour Nurburgring). Held on May 26 to May 29 in Nurburg, Germany, the STI started the grid in 2nd place. The race was interrupted temporarily as the track was pelted with hail. Despite the challenging conditions, the win backed up last year's victory in the SP3T class.
The Team Falken Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R finished in 9th place overall, which was 1st amongst the Porsches. Starting in 35th position out of 155 competitors, the Falken Porsche managed to claw through the ranks, even in the inclement weather.

24h-Race Nurburgring
Taking place at the Nurburgring, which is also famous as an R&D test track for automobile and tyre makers, this 24-hour endurance race is considered by many to be the world's toughest race. At 25km a lap, the race makes use of the Nurburgring's full course, combining the North Course (Old Course), which features elevation differences of 300m and about 170 corners (including blind corners), and the more modern Grand Prix Course used for F1.
