- Falken sponsors the 24 Hour Nurburgring
- Falken competes with Porsche and Subaru
Team Falken Motorsports will once again be competing in the ADAC Zurich 24h-Race Nurburgring (commonly known as the 24 Hour Nurburgring). One of the largest touring car races in the world, this year's 24h-Race Nurburgring will be held from Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 29 in Nurburg, Germany, where Falken hopes to take home the grand prize. In addition, like last year, as an official sponsor of the race Falken will have a display booth and hold various events at the venue.
Having first competed in the 24h-Race Nurburgring in 1999, this year will mark the 17th time Falken has entered the race. The same team of drivers who achieved a podium finish with third place last year will be gunning for first position at the wheel of a new Porsche 911 GT3 R (991).
Supporting the Porsche will be Team SUBARU Tecnica International which will be competing on Falken tyres. Team SUBARU Tecnica International won first place in the SP3T class at last year's 24h-Race Nurburgring. This year, the vehicle will feature Falken tyres that provide superior durability and grip performance. Team SUBARU Tecnica International is also aiming for first place in the SP3T class, which would make it their second consecutive win.
Falken will also be showcasing the brand at the Falken Booth, which will feature the latest tyres, racing simulators, meet-and-greets with drivers and drifting.
Falken Tyre Europe will be providing live updates during the race on their website (falken-europe.com), Twitter and Facebook.

24h-Race Nurburgring
Taking place at the Nurburgring, which is also famous as an R&D test track for automobile and tyre makers, this 24-hour endurance race is considered by many to be the world's toughest race. At 25km a lap, the race makes use of the Nurburgring's full course, combining the North Course (Old Course), which features elevation differences of 300m and about 170 corners (including blind corners), and the more modern Grand Prix Course used for F1.
