- Improved tyre life, less rolling resistance and better wet braking.
- Tyre made for Australian roads.
- Original equipment on Jeep, Honda and Volkswagen.
Sumitomo Rubber Australia is proud to announce the release of the all new Falken ZIEX ZE914 ECORUN. The new pattern is the next-generation, high-performance tyre made for Australian roads. It is a completely redesigned tyre with improved tread wear life, wet braking and fuel consumption.
"It's a tyre made for Australian roads," explained Kenichi Furuhama, Managing Director of Sumitomo Rubber Australia. "Testing has also shown it offers significantly better life than the predecessor, and it's no accident. Our engineers have spent a lot of time developing this pattern to ensure it excels in every department."
Engineered for performance and cost saving fuel efficiency, the silica-rich compound offers more mileage, through lower rolling resistance, and better wet braking. The profile has also undergone a complete redesign for improved handling and ride comfort. For hydroplane resistance the tyre features an asymmetric tread pattern with four straight and wide circumferential grooves.
The ZIEX ZE914 ECORUN also boasts global original equipment fitments on the Jeep Compass, Jeep Patriot, Honda HR-V and Volkswagen Passat. It suits a variety of small, medium and large cars and is available in 58 sizes for 15-inch to 18-inch wheels.
