Volvo Car Australia has announced two senior executive appointments to bolster its local leadership team.
Tony Pepper (GAICD) has been appointed Sales Director with responsibility for sales, sales planning, product, logistics, financial services, insurance and used vehicles. Tony brings to Volvo more than 25 years' car industry experience across retail sales, wholesale sales, marketing, distribution, network development, cultural transformation, and customer experience.
With a long career at Toyota Australia, including 3 years as Managing Director at Sydney City Toyota, he was most recently NSW State Manager with Mazda Australia.
Esme Ribarovski has been appointed Head of Human Resources, People Experience with responsibility for human resources strategy. She joins Volvo from Red Bull where she led human resources functions across Australia and greater Asia.
She has 20 years' experience in human resources management gained in major organisations including KPMG Australia and Nine Entertainment.
Esme is in the process of completing her MBA with AGSM @ UNSW.
"Esme and Tony are high calibre professionals who will be a great addition to our Australian executive team," said Volvo's Managing Director, Stephen Connor.
"They will play an important role in supporting Volvo's growth agenda which in 2021 includes opening three new Volvo Retail Experience dealerships and a new training centre to support our all-electric strategy."
