Motorcycle fans don't have long to wait to see the all-new
Indian Roadmaster for the first time in Australia at the 2014
Motorclassica on October 24-26 at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in
Melbourne.
Joining the Roadmaster on the stand will be the new two-tone
paint schemes for the Indian Chief range, which draws on Indian's
proud heritage as America's first motorcycle company.
"Motorclassica is Australia's premier annual exhibition of
unique, collectible, exotic and historically significant cars and
motorcycles – because of this, it is the logical
place for us to Roadmaster and the new two-tone paint schemes to
the Australian public for the first time," Peter Harvey
– Indian Motorcycle Australia Country Manager
said.
"Roadmaster draws on our proud heritage America's first
motorcycle brand, and will raise the bar in luxury motorcycle
touring with high levels of comfort and convenience alongside
features that recall the original bikes from the 1940s and 1950s,"
Harvey continued.
"As our new flagship luxury touring bike, the Roadmaster comes
with an extensive list of standard premium features
– customers who visit our Motorclassica stand
will be impressed with the comfort levels that allow two passengers
to comfortably ride all day," he concluded.
Available for a Recommended Ride Away Price from only $38,995
and backed by Indian's 2-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, it
will be available in thunder black, Indian Motorcycle red, and a
two- tone Indian Motorcycle red/ivory Cream paint scheme.
The two-tone paint theme will carry over to the 2015 Indian
Chief models, and will be on display to the Australian public for
the first time at Motorclassica.
"It is an honour to reintroduce two-tone paint for our 2015
Indian Chief models, as they are among the most iconic elements of
vintage Indian motorcycles dating back to the 1940s," Harvey
said.
Australian fans of Indian will be able to see the range at 2014
Motorclassica at Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building on 24-26
October.
