Zetland, February 5, 2020 – Audi Australia has started 2020 in strong shape, recording 12.9 percent growth over the same month in 2019 – against the trend of the total vehicle market. Audi delivered 1,448 vehicles to customers during the month of January.
"We're pleased to begin the year with strong growth, thanks to the arrival of many new models that our customers have been keenly awaiting," said Paul Sansom, Managing Director of Audi Australia.
"With the new Audi Q3 and A1 Sportback just the start of an incredible rollout of new product arrivals, we're expecting 2020 to be a year of consistent, sustainable growth for Audi in Australia."
Before the end of 2020, almost the entire Audi product line-up in Australia will be either renewed or refreshed, and will be the youngest in the brand's history.
The top sellers for the Audi brand were the all-new Audi Q3 (364 units), which was launched in December, Q5 (320 units) and the Audi A3 (188 units).
In March, the very first Q3 Sportback will be the first of a strong wave of SUV arrivals, followed by an incredible line-up of Audi Sport RS models across the full range, headlined by the arrival of the refreshed Audi R8.
2020 is also an important year for the Audi brand due to the arrival of its first electric vehicles, the e-tron and the e-tron Sportback, which are both currently scheduled to launch in the third quarter of the year.
