With Mazda ambassador Rob Mills currently wowing audiences nationally in GHOST The Musical, Mazda has joined the cast as Official Car Supplier.

Starting in Adelaide, and nearing the end of its Melbourne season, GHOST The Musical heads to Sydney, then Perth, before winding up mid-year.

As part of the sponsorship, a GHOST decaled First-Ever Mazda CX-3 will be seen around each city that the musical visits. Featuring a spectacular GHOST livery including lead performers Rob Mills and Jemma Rix in the iconic GHOST 'embrace' made famous by the stars of the movie, Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, the Mazda CX-3 is the country's most popular small SUV.

In addition, thanks to Mazda's partnership with the annual Run for the Kids – which supports the Royal Children's Hospital via the Good Friday Appeal – GHOST cast members will do a collection at the Regent Theatre with all monies raised going towards what is one Australia's most important charity drives.

"I'm stoked to play a small part in bringing Mazda and GHOST together," said Rob Mills - who plays the lead role of Sam. "I hope this helps sell lots of tickets and a lot of Mazdas!"

"I love being a part of the Mazda family, the Mazda CX-3 is my new favourite car, and GHOST is the most satisfying role of my career.

"Even better is that together we are helping the kids. You couldn't ask for anything more."

Mazda is thrilled with its association with GHOST The Musical.

"Mazda's 'Stylish, Insightful and Spirited' brand values are inherent in every car we make and in everything we do," said Mazda Australia Communications & Sponsorship senior manager Jaylee Osborne.

"We look for this energy and vibrancy in our sponsorship of the arts and as Australia's top-selling import brand we believe that GHOST's style and spirit is the perfect fit for Mazda.

"GHOST has definitely captured the imagination of theatre goers where ever it has opened. Mazda is proud to partner with this wonderful production."

The production is excited to be working alongside Mazda – the nation's second best-selling car maker.

"GHOST The Musical is delighted to partner with Mazda and the CX-3," said executive producer Torben Brookman

"Since opening in Adelaide, the Australian production of GHOST has thrilled audiences with its unique blend of heart, humour and dazzling special effects.

"This is the perfect partnership; we welcome Mazda and the Mazda CX-3."
