Driveaway pricing for Volkswagen's new segment-busting Polo 6 small car matches recommended retail pricing on the entry variants and has been kept to $1000 over RRP on Comfortline and the Launch Edition.
The sharp pricing was announced today by Volkswagen Group Australia in conjunction with offers on the Golf and Tiguan ranges.
Specification for bigger Polo 6 was announced earlier this month (see separate release). Pricing now looks like this:

The sixth generation Polo is available for customer order now, with the official launch and customer deliveries from early March.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen Australia is offering a 1.8% Comparison Rate on the following Tiguan variants until April 30:
- 110TSI Trendline manual and DSG
- 110TSI Comfortline DSG
- 110TDI Comfortline DSG
- 162TSI Sportline DSG
The current Golf hatch and Wagon 1.8% Comparison Rate has also been extended to April 30. It applies to:
- Hatch - 110TSI, 110TSI Trendline and Comfortline
- Wagon - 110TSI Trendline and Comfortline
