Subaru sales of 3901 vehicles in February were up 4.1% on the same month last year and represented a 38th consecutive month of growth, according to official VFACTS figures released today.
New generation XV cracked the 1,000 barrier, with 1,045 buyers choosing the popular Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), making it 108.6% ahead of the same month last year and 91.5% up Year-to-Date (YTD).
Also performing strongly was Subaru's performance stable, with 181 WRX sales, up 12.4% for the month and 4.4% YTD; while BRZ sold 67, up 63.4% for the month and 38.0% YTD.
Contributing strongly to the tally were new generation Impreza, with 824 sales; and the recently revamped Outback line-up, with 821 sales.
Subaru Australia Managing Director, Colin Christie, said: "The variety within the Subaru range continues to attract a diverse customer base, many of them new to our brand, which is key to continued growth.
"With our revised Liberty and Outback line-ups only going into showrooms during February, we can see further opportunity to demonstrate the core Subaru values of durability, safety, engineering integrity and retained value, across the rest of the year."
