Taking advantage of the international success of the recently released Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie (to be launched in Australia 21 June 2001), Land Rover
Australia have created the Defender 'TR' Limited Edition, which will be on display at this week's Sydney 4x4 Motor Show.
The Defender Td5 'TR' will be available in new Bonatti Grey colour featuring special colour coded roof. The accessory pack reflects the adventure and rugged
characteristics of the vehicles as seen in the blockbuster Lara Croft Tomb Raider movie featuring Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft and co-starring the entire Land Rover range of vehicles.
The Defender driven by Lara Croft in the movie was created and specially modified by Land Rover's Special Vehicles Operation in conjunction with Paramount Pictures. In the Tomb Raider movie the
Defender guides Lara through danger and allows her to access remote and rugged location in her quest across the globe.
The Australian Defender Td5 'TR' features a list of specially chosen accessories fitted to the limited edition Bonatti grey vehicles and includes :
- 2 x roof mounted & 2 x front mounted spot Lamp kits
- Chequer plate bonnet, wing top & support strip protector kit
